We know many of you are patiently waiting for the new updates we promised a few weeks back, but due to some issues while testing, we had to reschedule the update for February 12th. However, despite all the setbacks we’ve had during development, we are confident of the February 12th release, and is positive you will absolutely enjoy the new upcoming features trakdesk has to offer.
Here is a short list of features and fixes that will be included in the February 12th update.
- Ability to copy and paste images into the text editor when replying to tickets and creating knowledgebase articles.
- Added description field to ticket form builder, including locked fields
- Better UI for ticket form builder. Can also set required fields for customers and agents separately
- Restrict knowledgebase containers to specific customer support portals
- Delete attachments when updating knowledgebase articles
- Better placeholder handling – bug fix
- Change background color of layout and sidebar
- Ajaxify many features throughout the entire helpdesk
- CSV export in specific user locale.
- Moved vendors to Admin
- Ability to add company to ticket requesters when creating a new ticket
- Automatic scheduled reports
- Ability to add multiple email address to customer accounts
- Read-time browser notifications when tickets are created and responded to.
- Real-time ticket updates notification beacon when tickets are updated by agents. Live notifications also works with macros, time-based and event-based automations.
- Real-time agent collision detection
- Inline ticket message reply. Completely removed ticket popup reply.
- Better UI layout throughout the entire helpdesk
- Ability to see the last message added to a ticket by simply hover on tickets in the ticket search page
- Moved hardware / software purchases into one feature
- Ability to view ticket timeline while viewing a ticket
- Ability to merge ticket CC when merging multiple tickets
- Automatically add CC users when replying to a ticket
- Better UI when adding placeholders to email notification templates, automations, macros and canned responses
- Moved ticket forms under ticket properties
- Moved parts and purchases under ticket properties
- Ability to make draft knowledgebase articles as private
- Added ticket forms in event and time based automations condition
- Moved assigned ticket agents to a dropdown select menu
- Task Scheduler next run date – bug fix
- Ticket forms – agent group specific forms – bug fix
- Quote and invoices – better timeline management
